Thriller Film is a genre that revolves around anticipation and suspense. The aim for Thrillers is to keep the audience alert and on the edge of their seats. No matter what sub-genre a Thriller film falls into, it will emphasize the danger that the protagonist faces.
An example would be: "the boy next door". This story is about a new teenager (Noah) who moves in next door and a newly separated mother encourages her son to become friends with this nice boy. Her and Noah start getting a little too flirtatious and she knew she had to stop. But unexpectedly found out the truth about Noah and his psychopathic needs.
